We work in a hybrid way, working from the office, from home and from other Council buildings as appropriate.

Salary range – Band 10 (£45,441 – £47,420)          

Working Pattern –    Full Time

Working hours – 36.25 hours per week

About the Role

 

We currently have a vacancy which provides excellent opportunities to undertake a variety of work in supporting the Audit and Assurance Service.

 

As a Principal Audit and Assurance Lead Auditor, you will lead on allocated areas of audit activity, playing a key role in contributing to the management of the Service. The work includes undertaking audit reviews of systems and controls across Council Services which provides both a varied and challenging role.

 

For this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in internal audit in a local authority or large organisation, with experience of planning, conducting and leading on internal audit assignments.
