Salary range – £48,474 - £51,515
Working Pattern – Full Time
Working hours – 36.25

Contract type – Temporary to 2026 (three Years) to cover the life cycle of the project

About the Role
The Council is embarking on a journey to rethink the way we deliver our services for the future.
You will join a busy, friendly, and proactive team with opportunities, to deliver a variety of high-quality projects that bring about change, helping to ensure that Trafford’s services are sustainable, future-proof, and deliver the best outcomes for residents.
As a Programme Manager in the Modernisation Team, you will lead and support colleagues implementing complex change programmes to achieve benefits which supports residents, business priorities and the corporate plan
The role benefits from working within a large team, which delivers projects, at pace and in a timely manner, to deliver a range of outcomes that support the three corporate priorities and both directorate investment led activity or options for savings and change.
About you
You will have strong stakeholder management skills and experience of developing relationships with senior reporting officers (SRO) and other key stakeholders on project and programmes that deliver to time, cost and quality, establishing and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships.
You can demonstrate experience of delivering a range of projects/programme in a formal project environment, ideally in a social care environment. You should be confident to present complex information with your excellent written and communication skills and have a comprehensive understanding of the project cycle.
You will understand the complexities of governance arrangements and should be experienced in identifying and monitoring complicated interdependencies, risks & issues and benefits.
You will need to demonstrate your EPIC values in the way that you work and your leadership style; committed to continually learning & improving the way you and your colleagues do things to ensure effective outcomes; valuing and respecting others’ contribution.
You should hold a minimum of a degree level or equivalent qualification/ experience in a related subject
