As Panel Chair you will be required to take responsibility for chairing panel meetings in accordance with Fostering Regulations and Trafford Councils policies and procedures. Keeping the experience of the Child at the centre of your discussions you will lead the independent scrutiny of Fostering Assessments and Foster Carer Reviews in order to make recommendations to the Agency Decision Maker in respect of carer’s suitability to foster and/or any changes to their approval.
