STAR Procurement is the shared procurement service for Stockport, Trafford, Tameside and Rochdale Councils.  The team is employed by Trafford Council and is located at one of Trafford Councils offices in Sale. The team are classed as Hybrid workers which means they have the choice of working from the office or home unless required in the office for meetings or training.

 

STAR provides a strategic procurement service, ensuring that its Councils obtain best value when contracting with third party suppliers.  STAR works across all four Councils and other Partners.

These opportunities are for two Procurement Officer to support the team structure. The role(s) will work within the Place and Professional team and the Peoples (Adults) Team,  but may include work across the entire team including Professional, Place and People services.
