The Governing Body wish to appoint a motivated, inspirational teacher and SENCO to join our dedicated team at Moss Park Junior School. The role is full time, permanent and includes a part time teaching commitment with a job share partner and dedicated weekly release time.

This post would be suitable for an experienced teacher who has gained the NASENDCO qualification (or is currently on the NASENCO course) and would like to make a difference to the children and families at Moss Park Junior School.

You will be on the Leadership Team with responsibility for the strategic and operational oversight of our SEN policy and provision.

For this post we are looking for a teacher who:
Is an outstanding classroom practitioner able to motivate, engage and inspire pupils
Has a good understanding of the 2015 SEND code of practice
Is an advocate of Quality First Teaching and can lead staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEND children
Is committed to equal opportunities and securing good outcomes for pupils with SEND across the curriculum
Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Has the ability to support and overview the work of Teaching Assistants leading interventions with SEND children
Is determined, resilient and has high expectations of themselves and the school
Is flexible, has a good sense of humour and can work well in a year group team
Is willing to engage in all aspects of school life
