About us:
Ascot House service that supports service users with rehab goals within the 24
hour Intermediate Care Unit. We provide support with personal care, medications
for people who have experienced recent illness or injury. Our focus is to
support our service users to regain their confidence and independence. Service user are given the time and space
they need to progress with their goals to enable them to return home.
The
team consists of 42 Support Workers, 4 Senior Support Workers and 4 Deputy
Managers the Registered Manager. We work
as a multi-disciplinary team working alongside Nurse, GP, Physiotherapist,
Occupational Therapy and Social Workers this gives the service user a holistic
assessment of their needs.

About you:

About the role:
Ascot house is an Intermediate Care services and a Discharge to Assess unit our
goal is to support our service users to progress with their rehab gaining
confidences to return home and live independently. You will support service
users with personal care tasks, medication and rehab programs. Your remit will be to promote independence and
personal centered care at all times.
You
will undertake all training courses as required.
You will be required and undertake all tasks conducive to the role.
Any
appointments made to these roles will be subject to the candidate obtaining an
enhanced DBS as part of our clearance processes.
